Reed Flake brings decades of experience and a deep appreciation for Western heritage to the rodeo arena. A fifth-generation Arizonan from Snowflake, Arizona, Reed comes from a family with a long tradition in rodeo announcing. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, he began helping his father announce rodeos at a young age and has now spent more than 30 years behind the microphone. Known for his engaging personality and ability to connect with a crowd, Reed brings the excitement of rodeo to life while sharing his knowledge of the sport, its competitors, and the cowboy way of life.
In the 1980s, Reed and his uncle Keith Flake founded Rodeo Video, capturing and preserving some of the most memorable moments in team roping and rodeo. Their extensive collection of footage has helped document the history of the sport and continues to reach new generations of rodeo fans. Reed has also built a large online following by sharing ranching, rodeo, trucking, and everyday cowboy life with audiences around the world. With his unmistakable voice and genuine love for Western tradition, Reed has become a familiar and respected presence throughout the rodeo community.
