Southern California-based Shotgun Jefferson brings a unique brand of California Country to the stage, blending country music with deep, groove-driven rock and roll roots. Known for their polished, high-energy live shows, the band has a sound that appeals to longtime country fans while turning plenty of self-proclaimed “non-country” listeners into converts.
Led by frontman Jeff Zazueta’s powerful vocals, Shotgun Jefferson features Dean Parra’s blazing guitar, Sug Parra’s funky bass lines, and flawless three-part harmonies. Whether performing a full-throttle live set or stripping things down for an acoustic performance, the band delivers the same energy, musicianship, and connection with the crowd that have become trademarks of their shows.
Their passion and hard work have earned Shotgun Jefferson opportunities to share the stage with an impressive lineup of artists, including Midland, Nelly, Tyler Rich, Colt Ford, Lindsay Ell, Aaron Watson, Confederate Railroad, The Lacs, Brooke Eden, Moonshine Bandits, Jordan Rager, Meghan Linsey, Jessica Lynn, and others.
